Dot painting is a meditative art activity where children will be encouraged to slow down, take in the present moment, and focus on painting beautiful dots.

The process is called ‘dotting’. It is a repetitive process of dropping dots of acrylic paint onto a surface. Children will be taught the techniques on how to create dot patterns such as within mandalas, animals, and nature subjects with dotting tools and templates as well as freehand.
