Our curriculum, inspired by KID Museum (USA)framework which enhances 8 skills of“Mind of A Maker”for children age 4-12. The student will be an intelligent problem solver and creative person. We have more than 10 of high-level lessons for this curriculum

In each class, children will have the opportunity to do a take-home activity, allowing them to learn, play, create, and build toys. Additional materials related to the class topic are provided.

Science with Mr. Mitchell (Y4-Y6)

Science is the art and philosophy of discovery. The City School Scientist ASA program will be a unique and practice-based exploration of topics within the sciences to develop critical thinking through a hands-on, inquiry-based approach to science teaching and learning. Children will hone their ability to make predictions, test hypotheses, and extend each experiment or experience to deepen their understanding of how the world and the universe works. Topics will be explored through practical and lab-based activities through the scientific lenses of Biology, Geology, Chemistry and Physics based on the major themes of the Ontario Science curriculum.

• Classes are filled on a first-come-first-served basis.
• Fees will be pro-rated to the date your child starts any activity.
• Classes missed due to teacher absence, school events or closure will be refunded at the end of the season.
• Classes missed due to a child’s absence or withdrawal from a class are not eligible for refunds and/or transfers.
• School bus service is available for those who usually ride the school bus home. No school bus is provided for K2 children attending ASA, except for children enrolled in language ASAs.
• The office staff will confirm your enrollment upon the receipt of the form via email and will advise you on the payment procedure.
